Business Automation Division

Mission - assist property management entities to fully utilize the residential web portal and create values for the residents and the management companies.

Pacific Mobile has contracted with Chinachem Group to develop residential web platforms to provide CRM service such as apartment services, facility booking, showroom, resident discussion forum, transportation information as well as account enquiry for the residents.  Commercial firms can deliver their targeted promotion messages through the same platform to the residents.  Currently, the division is focusing on the local residential market and will exploit the PRC market in the coming year through the cooperation with partner companies.

Our residential portal division focuses on the web technology and system integration for local property developer. This division was established in June 2001 and is focused on consultancy as well as system integration for the property management sector. Currently, we are one of ChinaChem Group’s prime contractor and consultancy firm for the residential and commercial division. We are proud of wining the contracts from ChinaChem for developing the web service platform of total ten residential portals in the coming half year.  In addition to the development of web portal, the division also assists ChinaChem to setup and integrate the new Property Management System, smart card system, intelligent home and touch-screen kiosks with the web portal.  Furthermore, we are assisting ChinaChem to setup its e-showroom by inviting major shopping mall to feature their advertisements on the web portal as well as linking up ChinaChem other sectors such as Cinema, karaoke and game room.  We believe, this kind of direct marketing to the resident will be a dominating business model in the future.

Staff - The residential portal team is led by Poon Sze Lok and three other members. Mr. Poon obtained his Matster Desgree in Computer Science from UST and has worked as a IT Specialist with Merry Lynch before joining Pacific Mobile.  After joining Pacific Mobile, Mr. Poon is appointed the project manager of Jetour e-catalog, Tai Fook (Intranet and Content Management) project, ChinaChem Pictorial Garden Phase II web integration and PLK Intranet projects.

Partnership - To serve as a system integrator and consultancy role, we have formed number of alliances partnership in the past half year. AsiaTech Ltd is our property management system partner who has more than twenty years history in the IT industry.  We have integrated our web service and smart card system with its PMS product. CyberWorld Ltd, our kiosk and intelligence partner is a sole distributor of Advanced Tech Ltd of Taiwan. We have also integrated the POS of clubhouse and web service with its kiosk. We are also IBM business partner and 2-tier reseller. We provide IBM solutions and hardware to our clients through a close cooperation with IBM.

Business Automation Division

Mission – Assist our clients in automating their business by delivering tailor-made business automation tools such as CRM, Inventory Management, Human Resource Management and Project Control.

To stay competitive and improve efficiency, traditional corporations are becoming aware of the needs to automate their business operation.  We believe, in the coming decade, business automation applications will be highly sought-after solutions for general corporations. In view of such needs, the company has set up a Business Automation Division in July 2001, and soon won our first contract from Chevalier for computerizing their lift and evaluator division. We will also develop a tailor-made ERP solution for the division, which include modules for payroll management, project control and inventory control.  In the same quarter, we have assisted Ma Belle to provide CRM services for their retail shop as well as engage in a plan to migrate their POS to web based POS.  At the same time, we have developed our content management tool for Tai Fook Securities.

Staff - The Business Automation Team is led by Mr. Tong Ka Man and other two members. Mr. Tong obtained his Master Degree of Philosophy in UST and 1st class honor in Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering. Before joining Pacific Mobile.com Ltd, he worked for AT&T in setup their CRM service for the call center.

New Technologies Division

Mission – Assisting sizable corporations in adopting new technologies while ensuring security of their system.

We believe to encourage the usage of e-commerce by the general public, corporations need to solve the online payment and security problems.  We have a professional team that encompasses of payment, XML and security experts.  We have the capabilities to apply our professional knowledge and research to assist sizable organizations to setup their payment and security systems.

The division is setup in the first quarter of 2001. We have assisted several companies to establish their e-commerce platforms and payment solutions such as Miss-one.com, HKNet, MaXX, Epari as well as So-net.  Having certified professionals in security, this division have the capabilities to serve companies in providing consultancy and formulating security solutions.  Besides, we are developing XML technology for hotel and airline booking service.

Staff - This division is led by Mr. Wong Ka Cheong and has four members. Mr. Wong obtained his Master of Philosophy in Computer Science majoring in security and Opening Trading Protocol for e-commerce trading development. Before joining Pacific Mobile.com Ltd, he worked as Assistant Computer Officer in HKUST and developed several e-commerce platforms for corporation clients.  After joining the company, he is assigned the leader for of So-net Hong Kong project.  As a result of the team’s dedicated and quality service to So-net, the team is appointed by the new-business division of Sony Hong Kong to implement the logistic and finance solution (Smash payment solution) for Sony Hong Kong.
